Genealogy is a rather recent interest -- I've been at it about a year now. It has been especially challenging for me because I've gotten such a late start at it, and consequently, all of the generations before me are gone now, and it's hard to verify some of my findings. But I'm blessed to be from a large family (the youngest of nine children) so that I've been able to query my sibs about their own memories and stories from our parents, aunts and uncles. <br /> <br /> My paternal grandmother was a Whitney, so my research on that line lead me to the Whitney Research Group.
