My father, Harvey Whitney, was born in Whitney, New Brunswick on Dec. 24, 1912 and was the only son of Ernest H. Whitney of Whitney, New Brunswick and Marjorie Curtis of Maple Glen, New Brunswick. This line of Whitneys is descended from Ebenezer Whitney of Sheffield, NB, Canada.<br /> <br /> I have been interested in my family history for a number of years but until recently had not done anything in the way of research on the history of the family. Searching the internet, I came upon the descendants of Ebenezer Whitney and upon further investigation, found my grandfather, Ernest H. Whitney, listed on page 91/112 of the descendants of Ebenezer Whitney website.<br /> <br /> It was of interest to me that no mention of his son, Harvery, my father, was made and therefore that line of the family was seemingly discontinued with my grandfather's death in 1957. Not so. My father and mother had 4 children, Norma Dawn (1939); Marven Leslie (1940); Ernest Wayne (1941); and Hollis Elwin (1942). Subsequently, there are now grandchildren and great grandchildren of Harvey and Lillian as well as grandchildren from their offspring.</div>
