Translation
Herefordshire as follows: Henry Dudson by his attorney appeared for the 4th day against William ap Hoeth ap Thomas, late of Llanyangeth estle, in the county aforesaid, yeoman, and against Nicholas Welyn, late of Ewyas Lacy, in the county aforesaid, yeoman, and against David ap John, late of Clyro, in the county of Radnorshire, Gentleman & Hugh ap John, late of Clyro, in the county of Radnorshire, Gentleman, and against Thomas Whytney, late of Clyro, in the county of Radnorshire, Gentleman, in a plea that William & Nicholas pay 61s. 8d., & a plea that David & Hugh pay 40s. 10d., & a plea that Thomas pay 40s., they each owe and unjustly detained, etc.; and they did not attend; and it was ordered to the undersheriff to summon them, etc., and the undersheriff now reports ______________ etc.; therefore just as before they are to be brought here (before the court) at the Octaves of Saint Hillary, etc.
