Samuel Danielson (1740-1817) served as private at the Lexington Alarm and at the close of the war held the rank of captain. He was born and died in Killingly, Conn.

Windle Oury commanded a company in the 8th Pennsylvania regiment, 1776-77, under Col. Daniel Broadhead. He was born before 1747 in Germany.
