Mary Bray), was a son of Robert Whitney of Castleton (m. Elizabeth ferch Morgan ap William), son by an unknown wife of an elder Robert Whitney of Castleton, son of Robert Whitney of Whitney (and his second wife Elizabeth Vaughan), for whom see PA, pp. 104, etc., son of Eustace Whitney and Joan Trussell, daughter of Sir William Trussell and Margery Ludlow, SETH.
