7733 I. Sarah Elizabeth Whitney, b. at Florida, N. Y., 15 Dec. 1827; died at Florida, 16 Ap. 1831, and was buried there.
7734 II. Isaac Lewis Whitney, b. at Florida, N. Y., 21 Jan. 1829; a dealer in furniture; married at Amity, N. Y., 3 Nov. 1856, by Rev. P. Van Ostrand, Congregational, to Elizabeth Ann Bush, dau. of John and Jane (Barrett) Bush, of Amity, where she was born 1 Dec. 1835. They settled at Florida, and were living there in May 1875. 15263
7735 III. William Henry Whitney, b. at Florida, N. Y., 3 Ap. 1831; a painter and paper-hanger; married at Denton, N. Y., 31 March 1853, by Rev. O. M. Johnson, Presbyterian, to Mary Ann Tetther, dau. of Edward and Elizabeth (Peet) Tetther, of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, Eng., where she was born 11 Nov. 1831. They lived at Florida for about twelve years; and then settled at Barryville, in Highland, N. Y., where they were living in May 1875. He had then served as justice of the peace, and commissioner of excise, since 1 Jan. 1870, having been reelected in March 1873. 15264
7736 IV. James Horton Whitney, b. at Florida, N. Y., 30 Sept. 1835; a dealer in furniture; married at Amity, N. Y., 22 Oct. 1867, by Rev. Thomas H. Grennell, to Jane Bush, dau. of John and Jane (Barrett) Bush, of Amity, where she was born 13 June 1842. They settled at Florida, and were hiving there in May 1875. He had previously hived at Middletown, N. Y., from 1 Ap. 1852 to 1 May 1853; and at Warwick, N. Y., till 1 Dec. 1854. 15268
