removed to Ridgefield in 1846, returned to Norwalk in 1849, and were living there in Nov. 1875. No living children have been born to them.1
1744 V. Edward Nash, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 10 May 1822; was drowned at Norwalk, when about seventeen years old, and was buried in St Paul's Church yard.
1745 VI. George Nash, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 16 July 1824; a partner with his brother, David Warren Nash, at South Norwalk; married, 4 Jan. 1844, in the Methodist Church at South Norwalk, Mary Jane Richards, dau. of Lewis and Almira Richards, of Norwalk, where she was born 27 March 1826. She died in Norwalk, 22 Aug. 1869, and was buried in Pine Island Cemetery. He married (2d), 15 June 1870, at Westport, Conn., Agnes Haworth, born in July 1837, dau. of William and Ann Haworth, of Westport, formerly from England. They were living on Mott Avenue, Norwalk, in Nov. 1875. 5691
1746 VII. William Henry Nash, b. at New York City, 31 Aug. 1826; a painter; married, 9 Oct 1856, at Bethlehem, Penn., by Rev. Henry A. Shultz, Moravian, to Sarah Sophia Schneller, dau. of Charles George and Mary (Brown) Schneller, of Bethlehem. She was born at South Bethlehem, Penn., 18 March 1831. They dwelt in Bethlehem for two years; in Catasauqua, Penn., two years; in South Norwalk, Conn., seven years; and then moved to Norwalk, Conn., where they were living, in Dec. 1875. 5693
1747 VIII. Mary Elizabeth Nash, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 12 March 1829; married, 18 Dec. 1850, at East New York, L. I., by Rev. L. J. Munn, to Frederick Jackson Nodine, proprietor of a livery-stable, son of Frederick and Sarah (Crawford) Nodine, of Yonkers, N. Y., where he was born, 3 March 1815. They were living at 280 Adams Street, Brooklyn, N. Y., and his business was In Pierrepont Street, in Nov. 1875. She had lived for 8 years in New York, and 22 in Brooklyn, after leaving her father's house. 5697
1748 IX. Hanford Robert Nash, b. at Norwalk, Conn., 4 May 1830; a mining engineer; married at South Salem, N. Y., in Nov. 1850, Margaret Jane Fallon, dau. of Robert Foster and Margaret Jane (Fassett) Fallon, of Sligo, Ireland, where she was born about 1835. She died at 148 Rivington Street New York City, 19 Nov. 1866, and was buried in Cypress Hills Cemetery. He married (2d), in 1869, in Brooklyn, N. Y., Esther Jane Austin, dau. of Dr Aaron and Betsey Caroline (Gunn) Austin, and widow
  1 They adopted, in 1849, a daughter, Mary Eliza Nash, born 15 Aug. 1847, who married at Norwalk, 12 May 1869, Elijah Franklin Gregory, a shirt-cutter, son of Edmund Bates and Catharine (Demott) Gregory, or Norwalk, where he was born 9 Oct. 1840. They live with her adoptive parents, and have one son, Frederick Warren Gregory, born at Norwalk, 12 March 1870.
