Seventh Generation.
1795. They dwelt in Westfield till 1854; and then moved to Carleton, St. John, N. B., where they were living, at the corner of Prince and Ludlow Streets, in Ap. 1874.
4723 IV. Henry Peatman, b. at Oak Point Greenwich, N. B., 17 July 1809; an auctioneer and commission-merchant; married at Oak Point, 4 June 1833, by Rev. William Scovil, Episcopal, to Fanny Susanna Flewelling dau. of Caleb and Mary (Brittain1) Flewelling, of Oak Point, where she was born 10 Feb. 1812. They moved, about 1839, to Brantford, C. W., now Ont.; where lie died 24 Aug. 1869, and was buried in Brantford Cemetery. She was living at Brantford in Ap. 1874. 12115
4724 V. George Peatman, twin, b. at Greenwich, N. B., S Sept. 1811; a farmer; married at her fathers house, 5 Aug. 1839, by Rev. James C. Usher, rector of Grace Church, Brantford, C. W., to Chloe Lyon Cook, dau. of Thomas and Sally (Lyon) Cook, of Mohawk, C. W., where she was born 8 Dec. 1820. He left his father's house in 1834, and settled in Brantford, three miles from the village, which was his home for the rest of his life. He died at the house of his brother Norris Townsend Peatman, at Round Hill, Kings Co., N. B., 8 Sept. 1871, and was buried in Oak Point Cemetery, near his parents. She was living at Brantford in Ap. 1874. 12120
4725 VI. Sarah Elizabeth Peatman, twin, b. at Greenwich, N. B., 9 Sept. 1811; married there, 27 Sept. 1838, by Rev. Christopher Milner, Episcopal, to William Charles Smith, a farmer, son of John and Mary (Brittain) Smith, of Westfield, N. B., where he was born 29 Sept. 1812. They dwelt at Greenwich for five years; at Kingston, N. B., one year; and then settled at Westfield, where they were living in Ap. 1874. 12122
4726 VII. Harriet Caroline Peatman, b. at Greenwich, N. B., 9 Nov. 1816; married there, 30 July 1850, by Rev. Henry Daniel, Methodist, to William Harrison, a farmer, son of Isaac and Sarah (Emerson) Harrison, of Yorkshire, Eng., where he was born 9 July 1811. They settled at Jerusalem, N. B., and were living there in Ap. 1874. 12128
4727 VIII. Norris Townsend Peatman, b. at Greenwich, N. B., 24 Sept. 1819; a farmer married at Washademoac Lake, N. B., 31 Oct. 1843, by Rev. William Scovil, Episcopal, to Rachel Jane Flewelling, dau. of Azor and Maria (Purdy) Flewelling, of the same place, formerly of Kingston, N. B., where she was born 30 Ap. 1824. They settled at Greenwich, on the homestead of his father and grandfather, and were living there in Ap. 1874. 12130
  1 Mary Brittain, dau. of Col. James Brittain, was born on Staten Island, N. Y., 4 May 1775; died at Greenwich, N. B., 10 May 1860, aged 85 years, and was buried in Oak Point Cemetery.
