4807 I. Elizabeth Whitney, b. at Shrub Oak, in Yorktown, N. Y., 27 July 1827; married at Kensico, N. Y., 4 Ap. 1848, by Drake Waterbury, to John Williams, a shoemaker, who was born at Armonk, in North Castle, N. Y., 1 Feb. 1826, son of James and Lydia (Brundage) Williams, both of whom died and were buried at Armonk. He died at Kensico, 20 Sept. 1862, and was buried at Armonk, in the same town. She was married (2d), 18 March 1866, at White Plains, N. Y., by Rev. Dr. Rumney, Episcopal, to Henry Williams, a shoemaker, who was born at Armonk, 20 Dec. 1834, son of James and Lydia (Brundage) Williams, and brother of her first husband. They settled at White Plains. He enlisted, 4 Jan. 1864, in Co. E, 6th N. Y. Artillery, and served till the close of the war. She died at White Plains, 13 Nov. 1869, and was buried at Armonk. He lived at White Plains in 1874. 12365
4808 II. Martha Whitney, b. at Shrub Oak, in Yorktown, N. Y., 18 Sept. 1831; married at Kensico, N. Y., 10 Aug. 1853, by Rev. John L. See, pastor of the Reformed Dutch Church at Unionville (in Mount Pleasant, N. Y.), to Benjamin Odell, a mason, born at Unionville, 25 Dec. 1829, son of Jacob and Jane (Lent) Odell, both of whom died and were buried at Unionville. They were living at Pleasantville, in Mount Pleasant, N. Y., in 1874. 12372
4809 III. Solomon Fowler Whitney, b. at Kensico, in North Castle, N. Y., 23 May 1835; a seaman; was lost at sea, 23 June 1856, in the Restless, near Tristan d'Acunha.
4810 IV. Jane Whitney, b. at East Chester, N. Y., 11 March 1838; married at Unionville, in Mount Pleasant, N. Y., 15 Ap. 1860, by Rev. Mr. Moor, Presbyterian, to Jesse Williams, a shoemaker, who was born at Armonk, in North Castle, N. Y., in 1837, son of James and Lydia (Brundage) Williams.1 He died at Kensico, in North Castle, N. Y., 6 June 1862, and was buried at Armonk. She was married (2d), 15 Jan. 1865, at White Plains, N. Y., by Israel Purdy, to Edward Reynolds, a teamster, born in New York City, 16 Feb. 1837, son of Jason and Fanny (Armstrong) Reynolds, of New York, and afterward of Kensico. He enlisted, 31 May 1861, in Co. A, 27th Reg., N. Y. S. Vol. Infantry; served for two years; and was discharged, 31 May 1863, at Elmira, N. Y. He reenlisted, 18 Jan. 1864, in Co. C, 7th Reg., N. Y. Heavy Artillery; and served till the close of the war, being discharged at Albany, N. Y., 1 Aug. 1865. They lived at Kensico in 1874. 12377
  1 Jesse Williams and his brothers, John and Henry Williams, were second cousins to their mother-in-law, their grandfathers being brothers.
