Seventh Generation.
Prot. Epis. Church at Genesee, N. Y., 15 Aug. 3873, by Rev. Dr. Knight, to Milton Putney, a railway-conductor, born at Villenova, N. Y., 31 July 1844, son of Salmon and Eunice (Alden) Putney. They were living at Hornellsville, N. Y., in 1874, and he was then employed on the Susquehanna Division of the Erie Railway. He enlisted at St. Louis, Mo., 1 March 1863, in the U. S. Navy, on gun-boat No.14, and was discharged 1 March 1864.

Epis. to Robert Snell, of Windham, a farmer, son of John and Ann (Martyn) Snell, of Pike, Penn., formerly of Cricket, St Thomas, Somersetshire, Eng., where he was born 25 May 1825. They settled in the south part of Owego, N. Y.; and were living on the same farm in 1874. 12825
5113 II. Charles Wesley Hauver, b. in Bradley Street, North Lee, Mass., 1 Dec. 1844; a locomotive-engineer, married at Owego, N. Y., 3 Jan. 1866, by Rev. W. B. Westlake, Meth. Epis., to Martha C. Smith, dau. of William O. and Sarah Ann (Catlin) Smith, of Owego, formerly of Tioga, N. Y., where she was born 7 June 1848. They were living in Adeline Street, Owego, in 1874; and he was then employed on the Erie Railway. 12826

Keyes, 1 Jan. 1865, to Nelson Codner, a farmer and lumberman, born at Schoharie, N. Y., 15 Sept. 1832, son of Hiram and Elizabeth (Mericle) Codner, who afterward removed to Owego. She was living in the town of Owego in 1874. 12829
