p. 52, #125: The given birth date of Nathan4 WHITNEY cannot be found in any vital record. The day and month are those of his marriage to Mary HOLMAN, which is suspicious. His will was dated 18 Jun 1755, and proved 15 Jun 1761.
p. 52, #435: Nathan5 WHITNEY married Tabitha BENNETT, not BARNETT.
p. 52, #436: Mary5 WHITNEY of Stow and Jeremiah PRIEST of Harvard published their intentions of marriage 17 Dec 1743 in both Stow and Harvard, MA. They had eleven children born in Harvard, MA.
p. 52, #437: Jeremiah5 WHITNEY married firstly Elizabeth FARR, and second Azubah BENNETT.
p. 52, #438: Her son David WARNER was born 23 Nov 1766, not 3 Nov 1766, according to Harvard vital records.
p. 52, #439: Moses and Eunice5 (WHITNEY) WARNER had three children recorded in Harvard, MA.
p. 52, #131: Thomas4 WHITNEY was born about 1694, if his age at death is accurate. Apparently he had a second wife, Susanna -----, whom he married about 1727, unless she was identical to his first wife Hannah SMITH. She was the mother of the last two children, according to Watertown vital records, volume 2, page 102.
p. 52, #440: Ebenezer (not Eben) SANDERSON married 28 Mar 1745, Leicester, MA, Phebe5 WHITNEY. They had six children born in Leicester, MA.
p. 52, #440: Nathan5 WHITNEY of Spencer married 20 Feb 1754, Grafton, MA, Abigail MARSTASS. They had at least nine children, two recorded in Spencer, five in Brookfield, and two unrecorded. None of those children are treated by Pierce.
