Capt. Isaac Lawrence (Daniel, Ruth3 Whitney, John2, John1), son of Daniel and Sarah (-----) Lawrence, was born 25 Feb 1704/5, Groton, MA,[1] and died 2 Dec 1793, Canaan, CT, aged 88 years 9 months 23 days.

He married firstly, 19 Dec 1727, Canaan, CT, Lydia Hewitt, daughter of Thomas and Persis (Cleveland) Hewitt. She was born 4 Nov 1707, Stonington, CT, and died 14 Nov 1767, Canaan, CT.

He married secondly, after 14 Nov 1767, Amy (Blodgett) Whitney, daughter of William and Sarah (Hall) Blodgett. She was born 16 Feb 1723/4, Plainfield, CT, and died 24 Dec 1819, Canaan, CT, aged 96. She had married firstly, 8 Apr 1743, Plainfield, CT, Joshua4 Whitney, son of David3 and Elizabeth (Warren) Whitney. She married thirdly, circa 1798, George Palmer, as his second wife.

iv. Amy Lawrence, b. 8 Dec 1734, Plainfield, CT; d. 17 Feb 1815; m. 30 Mar 1760, Elijah Cobb.
v. Isaac Lawrence, b. 5 Mar 1737, Plainfield, CT; d. ON, Canada; m. 18 Mar 1760, Canaan, CT, Mary Brown.
vi. Elijah Lawrence, b. circa 1739, Canaan, CT; d; young.
