Levi⁶ Whitney (Jonas⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Jonas⁵ and Zebudah (Davis) Whitney,^[1] was born 12 June 1751, Harvard, MA,^[2] and died in 1786.

He "of Concord" married firstly, 12 Sep 1772, Harvard, MA, Sarah Lawrence.^[3] She died 19 Oct 1783.

He married secondly, 25 Dec 1783, Hepsibeth Fay, of Westboro. She was born 1 Oct 1759. Marriage intentions were published 24 Oct 1790, Leominster, MA, for her "Wid." "of Rindge" and Samuel Hale "Jr.",^[4] as his second wife. His first wife was Hannah (Wetherbee) Stearns, daughter of Paul and Hannah (Peirce) Wetherbee.

At the time of his marriage he resided in Concord. He resided Concord and Westminster, MA, Rindge and Marlborough, NH.

v.	Betsey Whitney, b. 5 Apr 1783.
