Jump to navigationJump to search----- Whitney, parentage unknown but perhaps the same man as Anthony Whitney, son of Richard Whitney, died before 1622. He was of Holt, Worcestershire, England.
He married Anne -----. She made her will 9 Nov 1622, which was proved at Worcester, 2 Aug 1632. She gave to Henry Beedle a strike of rye: gave to god-daughter, Mary Roberts; to her grandchild, Anne Whitney, a standing bedstead which her mother hath.

i. Anthony Whitney, b. -----; d. bef. 7 Dec 1618; m. Eleanor -----. ii. Richard Whitney, Gent., executor of his mother's will. His own, dated 8 Jul 1632, was proved at Worcester, 1 Aug 1632. iii. Edward Whitney. iv. Anne Whitney, m. Hugh Pilkington. Was she perhaps the Anne Whitney who m. 8 Jan 1615, Plemonstall, Cheshire, William Pilkington?[1] Children: a. John Pilkington.
v. ----- Whitney. She m. ----- Chaunce. Children: a. John Chaunce, b.
vi. ----- Whitney. She m. ----- Johnson
