Abraham6 Whitney (Abraham5, Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Abraham5 and Rebecca (Dudley) Whitney, was born 29 Nov 1779, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 19 Nov 1808, Harvard, MA, aged 29 years.[2]

He "Jr." married, 3 Apr 1802, Harvard, MA, Alice Houghton,[3] daughter of Elijah and Mercy5 (Whitney) Houghton. She married secondly, 27 Mar 1816, Harvard, MA, John Forbush, Jr.[4]

He resided Harvard, MA.

i. Mercy7 Whitney, b. 16 Jul 1802, Harvard, MA;[5] d. 3 Aug 1851, Harvard, MA, aged 49 years, of dropsy; unmarried.[6]
ii. Abel Whitney, b. 20 Feb 1804, Harvard, MA.[7] He has not been found in any census record.
iii. Almira Whitney, b. 24 Oct 1805, Harvard, MA;[8] d. 10 Jan 1811, Harvard, MA, aged 5 years (or 9 Jan 1812, aged 6 years).[9]
iv. Maria Whitney, b. 15 Nov 1807, Harvard, MA;[10] d. 20 Feb 1896, Acton, MA;[11] m. 19 Apr 1828, Harvard, MA, Daniel Willis.[12]

According to his daughter Maria's death record, he was born in Marlborough, NH.
