Benjamin Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1825, and died after 1849.
He married, before 1849, Margaret -----. She was born say 1827, and died after 1849.
In 1849 he was a laborer, and they lived in an alms house in Chelsea, MA.
Children of Benjamin and Margaret (-----) Whitney:
i. James Whitney, b. 7 Nov 1848, Chelsea, MA;[1] d. 7 Jul 1862, Chelsea, MA, aged 12 years 8 months, drowned.[2]
Notes
It is possible that he was the Benjamin7 Whitney, son of John6 and Hannah (Rich) Whitney, born 8 Sep 1824, probably Thorndike, ME.
