Benjamin Franklin7 Whitney (Rufus5, [prob.] Joshua4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Rufus6 and Laura (Hatch) Whitney, was born 27 Sep 1835, Wyoming Co., NY, and died 4 Apr 1867, Gainesville, NY.

He married, either 30 Jul 1859, or about 10 Mar 1860, Leroy, NY, Amanda Malvina Holmes. She was born 23 Jan 1840, Portageville, NY, and died 7 Jun 1917, Batavia, NY.

iv. Frank Orlando Whitney, b. 10 Jan 1866, NY; d. 12 Nov 1949; m. 14 Jul 1912, Nella Gulbranson-Skeels.
