Beriah⁷ Whitney (Ephraim⁶, Joel⁵, Abel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Ephraim⁶ and Sarah (Noyes) Whitney, was born 25 Jun 1803, Chandler's River (Jonesboro), ME.

He married, Jonesboro, ME, Lucy Corthell Hall, daughter of William Sprague and Mercy (Cummings) Hall. She was born 11 Apr 1805, Addison, ME, and died 27 Feb 1888, Milltown, St. Stephen, NB.

He was a lumberman; was born at Jonesboro. They settled in Saint Stephen, NB, opposite Milltown, in Calais, ME; resided Milltown, Calais, ME.

Children of Beriah⁷ and Lucy (Hall) Whitney:

i.	Henry A.8 Whitney, b. 11 Feb 1834, St. Stephen, NB; m. Margaret Jane Lindsay.
ii.	Horace Hall Whitney, b. 11 Jan 1836; m. Garafelia Palmer.
iii.	Mary Elizabeth Whitney, b. 14 Jul 1838; d. 31 Aug 1865, Saint Stephen, NB.
iv.	William Sprague Whitney, b. June 1841; d. 8 Nov 1842.
v.	Charles Frederick Whitney, b. 6 Jan 1847; resided Moncton, NB.
