Casper Oliver Whitney (Smith, Chauncey), son of Smith and Lucy (Parker) Whitney, was born 19 Dec 1850, Triangle, NY, and died 5 Dec 1912, Piqua, OH, aged 62 years 1 month 16 days, of Bright's disease.[1] He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.[2]

He married, 30 Dec 1872, Midland Co., MI, Alice R. White,[3] daughter of Rufus L. and Delia Lucretia (Keep) White. She was born 16 Aug 1849, Rouses Point, NY, and died 21 Mar 1926, Miami Co., OH, aged 76 years 7 months 5 days, of organic heart disease.[4] She was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.[5]
