Charles Wilson8 Whitney (Aaron7, Zachariah6, Zachariah5, Zachariah4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Aaron7 and Elizabeth (Bundy) Whitney, was born 29 Oct 1837, Meredith, NY, and died 6 Jun 1916, Hancock, NY.

He married firstly, 26 Sep 1866, Martha Jane (Halsey) Dingee, daughter of Nelson and Emolinda (Williams) Halsey. She was born circa 1838, NY, and died 7 Oct 1886, Odin, PA. She had married firstly, before 1859, Joseph A. Dingee, who died 12 Aug 1865, Odin, PA.

He married secondly, 17 Apr 1888, Emma Mary Hyatt Nichols.
