Charles Winthrop9 Whitney (James W.8, Amos7, Hezekiah 6, Elias5, Lemuel4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of James W.8 and Sultina V. (Bartlett) Whitney, was born 25 Aug 1865, Sterling, MA.[1]

He married, 29 Sep 1900, Winchendon, MA [also recorded in Leominster, MA], Laura Ann Quinn, dau. of James and Kate (Furrey/Feeney) Quinn.[2] She was born about 1871, Cambridge, MA.

They resided 299 Lake street, Cleveland, OH.

i. James Winthrop10 Whitney, b. 26 Apr 1901, Leominster, MA.[3]
ii. Charles Raymond Whitney, b. 25 Dec 1903, Leominster, MA [given name not recorded];[4] d. 24 Jan 1904, Leominster, MA, aged 1 month 1 day, of marasmus.[5]
iii. Walter Eugene Whitney, b. 11 Mar 1905, Leominster, MA.[6]
