Cyrus6 Whitney (Samuel5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Samuel5 and Abigail (Cutler) Whitney, was born 24 Dec 1774, and died after 1820.

He married, 28 Dec 1795, Boston, MA, Mary Brewer.[1]

He resided Geneva, New York.[sic: probably should be "Genoa", NY. - RLW]

Children of Cyrus6 and Mary (Brewer) Whitney:

i. Emily7 Whitney, b. ca. 1803, CT; m. before 1830, David B. Downing; resided Geneva, NY [sic: probably should be "Genoa", NY. - RLW], Erie, PA, and Oxford, OH.
Ch.: Margaret, b. ca. 1832, NY; Jeremiah, b. ca. 1836, NY; Millie Amelia Downing, b. 11 Feb 1837, Erie, PA; d. 1 May 1926; George, b. ca. 1839, PA; Emily, b. ca. 1841, OH; Dennis, b. ca. 1845, OH.
