Ellis8 Whitney (Jeremiah7, Jeremiah6, Jeremiah5, Jeremiah4, Nathan3, John2, Henry1), son of Jeremiah7 and Sarah (Goodwin) Whitney, was born 13 May 1851, Middlebury, PA, and died after 1892.

He married firstly, before 1878, Della/Delilah Shellman, daughter of Jerry and Elisabeth (-----) Shellman. She was born about 1860, and died after 1910. They must have been divorced, since both remarried. She married secondly, about 1885, John Nusom.

He married secondly, about 1880, Lillia/Lily/Nell Frie/Friar, daughter of William and Jennie (-----) Frie/Friar. She was born Feb 1867, NY, and died after 1900.
