Everett Ellsworth9 Whitney (Jason Woodward8, Reuben Perkins7, David6, Nathan5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Jason Woodward8 and Lydia Allen (Davis) Whitney, was born 3 May 1861, Hingham, MA.

He married, 2 Oct 1890, Middletown, PA, Katharine J. McCammon. She was born 9 Feb 1862.

Everett E. Whitney, son of Jason W. and Lydia A. Davis Whitney, was born at Hingham, MA, 3 May 1861 (also a twin brother, Edward C., who died at the age of four months). His education was derived from the public schools in Hingham and a commercial college at Boston. Remained with his Father, assisting him in business, until the fall of 1882, then accepted a position in Boston, remaining nearly a year. Went to Tucson, Arizona, 1 Nov 1883, and obtained a situation with J. S. Mansfield, proprietor of the largest "book and news depot" in the territory, remaining with him until 1 Jul 1886, then returned to Massachusetts. Accepted position of auditor's assistant with the Pennsylvania Steel County, at Steelton, PA, the first part of the following September, about two months after returning from Arizona; was made auditor and cashier in February, 1890. Married Katharine J. McCammon 2 Oct 1890, at Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; resided Steelton, PA.

Children of Everett Ellsworth9 and Katharine J. (McCammon) Whitney:

i. Jason McCammon10 Whitney, b. 8 Feb 1894, Steelton, PA; d. 17 Jun 1906, Hingham, MA, aged 12 years 4 months 9 days, of tuberculosis of lungs.[1]
