Frederick9 Whitney (Joseph Hasting8, Joseph7, Nathaniel6, Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Joseph Hasting8 and Sarah (Ingraham) Whitney, was born 7 Jan 1845 (twin), Grafton, MA.[1]

He married, 7 Aug 1870, Boston, MA, Mary Louisa Gardner, daughter of Joseph and Mary (-----) Gardner.[2] She was born about 1838, Boston, MA.

He resided City Point, Boston, MA, Atlantic Ave. Edison Electric Company.

In 1879-1881 he was an engineer, living at 620 E. Seventh St., Boston, MA.
