George Henry9 Whitney (George Woods8, Thomas7, Timothy6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of George Woods8 and Sarah B. (Whitney) Whitney, was born 3 Feb 1843, Bolton, MA, and died 12 Jan 1911, Marlborough, MA.[1]

He married, before 1870, Emma Althea (Fay) Brigham, daughter of Hiram W. and Thankful Brigham (Stowe) Fay. She was born 6 Dec 1846, Marlborough, MA, or Auburn, MA. She had married firstly, 15 Jul 1866, Marlborough, MA, James H. Brigham.

(Grant) Lewis,[7] d. 19 Sep 1898, Worcester, MA, aged 30 years 8 months 10 days, of albuminuria of pregnancy, and uraemic coma.[8] Children:

Notes

Since the 1900 and 1910 censuses say that Emma had had four children, all alive in 1900, and three of them in 1910, it seems that she may have had a child by her first husband, which died between 1900 and 1910. No record of this child has been found yet.
