George Shepard7 Whitney (Ambrose6, Henry5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Ambrose6 and Nancy (-----) Whitney, was born 26 Jul 1829, Chesterville, ME, and died 1894, Campton, Grafton Co., NH.
He married firstly, 16 Nov 1853, Lowell, MA, Susan F. Bagley, daughter of Elijah and June (-----) Bagley.[1] She was born about 1833, Thornton, NH, and died before 1869.
George married secondly, 27 Jun 1869, Campton, NH, Laura J. Glover, daughter of Lorenzo and Lavinia W. (-----) Glover. She was born about 1847, NH, and died after 1880.
George was a veteran of the Mexican War, and received a pension from the U.S. government.
