Gustavus Fellows9 Whitney (Reuben8, Gustavus Fellows7, Ephraim6, Joel5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Reuben8 and Lydia Holmes (Tabbutt)(Noyes) Whitney, was born 15 Mar 1850, Jonesboro, ME, and died 25 Nov 1921, Jonesboro, ME. He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro, ME.[1]
He married firstly, 14 Jul 1874, Jonesboro, ME, Annie Elizabeth8 "Liza" Whitney,[2] daughter of Josiah Noyes7 and Eliza Ann (Kilton) Whitney. She was born about 1852, ME, and died Dec 1877, Jonesboro, ME. She was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro, ME.[3]
He married secondly, 10 Jun 1885, Jonesboro, ME, Lenora Evelyn Smith. She was born Feb 1863, ME, and died after 1900.

He apparently had a first wife, married before 1876, and died between 1878 and 1880, by whom he had the two children listed in the 1880 census: Maude E. Whitney, b. ca. 1876, and Walter L. Whitney, b. ca. 1878. Nothing further is known of her.
