He married, before 1857, Olive -----. She was born Jun 1836, OH, and died after 1925.

He served in Co. B, 96th Illinois Infantry, during the Civil War. He applied for an invalid pension on 7 Sep 1866. His widow Olive applied for a widow's pension on 12 Mar 1925, from CA.

He resided in Sparta, MI, East Boyer, IA, and Plumas Co., San Luis Obispo Co., Oakland, and San Jose, CA.
