Henry7 Whitney (Isaac6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Isaac6 and Polly (-----) Whitney, was born 14 Feb 1820, Springfield, VT,[1] and died after 1880.

He married 28 Nov 1845, Brookline, MA, Harriet M. Sinnott,[2] daughter of Thomas and Polly (-----) Sinnott. She was born about 1824, Saco, ME, and died 23 Oct 1890, Boston, MA, aged 66 years, of dysentery.[3] They may have been divorced, since he remarried.

He married secondly, between 1860 and 1870, Susan H. -----. She was born about 1823, MA, and died after 1870. They were divorced before 1880.

They lived in Brookline, MA.

i. William Henry8 Whitney, b. 3 Jun 1848, Brookline, MA;[4] d. 24 May 1872, Brookline, MA, aged 23 years 11 months 21 days, of tubercular disease of lungs.[5]
ii. Elizabeth M. Whitney, b. ca. 1855, Brookline, MA; m. 1 May 1877, Boston, MA, William F/T. Brown, b. ca. 1845, Phillipston, MA, son of Leonard and Mary (-----) Brown.[6]
iii. Mary L. Whitney, b. 28 Aug 1855, Brookline, MA.[7]
