His widow may be the Elizabeth Whitney who married, 8 Oct 1780, Falmouth, ME, Richard Dutton. Elizabeth, widow of Richard Dutton, applied for a pension for Richard's service in the Revolution, # W 24,860. They appear in the 1790 Census at Wells, ME, and possibly in the 1820 Census at Sanford, ME, but not in 1800 or 1810.
