John Allen9 Whitney (John Emerson8, John7, John6, Nathan5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of John Emerson8 and Cleora (Allen) Whitney, was born 11 Apr 1849, Westminster, MA,[1] and died after 28 Jun 1899, Grafton, MA, aged 50 years 2 months, of arteriosclerosis.[2] He was buried in Grafton, MA.

He married, 29 Nov 1876, Grafton, MA, Susan Emma Hibbard, "Sarah Emma" daughter of Orin and Mary (-----) Hibbard.[3] She was born 8 May 1852, New Sharon, ME, and died after 1886.

He resided Grafton, MA.
