Jonathan Mason8 Whitney (Jonathan7, Jonathan6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonathan7 and Lucy (Spalding) Whitney, was born about Jun 1832, East Templeton, MA, and died 12 Dec 1907, East Templeton, MA, aged 75 years 6 months, of paralysis.[1]

He married, 9 or 19 May 1861, Templeton, MA, Caroline Almira Perry, daughter of Charles H. and Mary B. (-----) Perry.[2] She was born about 4 Jan 1839, Shelburne, MA, or Phillipston, MA, and died 12 Feb 1903, Shrewsbury, MA, aged 64 years 1 month 8 days, of pneumonia and La Grippe.[3]

He resided Everett, MA.

They had no children in 1870 and 1880 censuses. In the 1900 census, she is reported as having had one child, but none living.
