Joseph7 Whitney (Nathaniel6, Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Nathaniel6 and Abigail (Joslin) Whitney, was born 27 Nov 1767, Grafton, MA,[1] and died 14 Aug 1843, Grafton, MA, aged 75 years 8 months 18 days, or consumption.[2]

Intentions of marriage were published 15 Oct 1797, Grafton, MA, for him and "Hannah Rice" "of Marlborough".[3] He married firstly, 10 Dec 1797, Marlborough, MA, Hannah Rice,[4] daughter of Jabez and Alice (Howe) Rice. She was born 5 Aug 1777, Marlborough, MA, and died 4 Nov 1798, Marlborough, MA, aged 21 years.[5]

Marriage intentions were published 10 Apr 1802, Grafton, MA, for him and Polly Stockwell.[6] He married, 23 May 1802, Royalston, MA, Polly Stockwell, "both of Grafton",[7] daughter of Daniel and Rebeckah (Warren) Stockwell, and granddaughter of Timothy and Rebecca (Tainter) Warren. She was born 15 May 1768, Westborough, MA, and died 29 Oct 1844, Grafton, MA, aged 76 years 5 months 14 days, of consumption.[8]

He resided Grafton, MA.

Joseph7 and Hannah (Rice) Whitney apparently had no children.
