He married secondly, 29 Dec 1852, Dixon, IL, Dorothy A. Peterson, daughter of Jonathan and Dorothy (Smith) Peterson. She was born 16 Apr 1833, Truxton, NY, and died 20 or 22 Oct 1910, Coggan, IA.
