Lilla E.9 Whitney (Artemas Henry8, George Washington7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), daughter of Artemas Henry8 and Jerusha Sellon (Percival) Whitney, was born 15 Feb 1865, Amherst, MA, and died 21 Feb 1953, Athol, MA.

She married firstly, 16 Mar 1895, Athol MA, Charles A. Hall, a printer of Athol, son of Charles M. and Ella J. (Rawson) Hall.[1] He was born 1866, Uxbridge, MA. They were divorced.

She married secondly, 17 Apr 1915, Athol, MA, Arthur C. Jackson, a shoe operator of Athol, son of Andrew and Abbie L. (Bancroft) Jackson. He was born Oct 1862, Winchester, NH, and died 13 Nov 1934, Athol, MA.

Vital records at Quabbins for the childrens' births show Herbert Tolman as the father of Eva and John T. White as the father of Oakley, although both were known by her family name - Whitney. There is no record of marriage to either.

She was a cook and waitress in a restaurant.

i. Eva S. Whitney, b. 4 Mar 1883, Dana, MA; m. Arthur Chester Henry.

Children of Lilla E.9 Whitney and John T. White:

ii. Oakley Whitney, b. 5 Sep 1885, Dana, MA; m. Vera Mildred Hilton.

Charles A. and Lilla E.9 (Whitney) Hall had no known children.

Arthur C. and Lilla E.9 (Whitney)(Hall) Jackson had no children.
