Mehetable5 Whitney (Thomas4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of Thomas4 and Mehetable (Bacon) Whitney, was born 8 Aug 1762, Natick, MA.[1]

She married, 12 Jan 1797, Natick, MA, Samuel Lawton.[2]

Pierce says the following:[3]

MEHITABLE [WHITNEY], bap. Sept. 30, 1764; m. Jan. 12, 1797; Samuel LAWTON. He was the Samuel LAWSON of Harriet Beecher STOWE's "Old Town Folks."

Children of Samuel and Mehetable5 (Whitney) Lawton, both born Natick, MA:

i. Sally Lawton, b. 7 Oct 1797.
iii. Mary Ann Lawton, b. 4 Aug 1802.
