Milton Isaac7 Whitney (Samuel6, Isaac5, Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Samuel6 and Ann (Stroup) Whitney, was born 4 Jun 1846, Macomb, MI, and died 14 May 1936, Detroit, MI. He was buried in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton, MI.[1]

He married, 5 Jul 1876, Chicago, IL, Elizabeth M. Fuller. She was born 11 Sep 1858, Toronto, ON, and died 11 Feb 1946. She was buried in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton, MI.[2]

He attended school in Ypsilanti with his brother Samuel, where he is listed in 1870.

He served during the war until its close in a Michigan regiment. For many years he has been a teacher and principal in the Detroit public schools; resided Detroit, MI, 209 Hancock Ave.

He served in Co. F, 22nd Michigan Infantry.

Wife Elizabeth, pregnant with twins, is not listed in the family. Possibly the birth information given for Milton is actually hers, and she was omitted by a clerical error. Milton and his parents were all born in Michigan.
