Miriam5 Whitney (Josiah4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), daughter of Josiah4 and Mehitable (Fuller) Whitney, was born 31 May 1744, Willington, CT,[1] and died said 1844.
She married, 17 May 1764, Willington, CT, Josiah Root,[2] son of Samuel and Mercy (Parker) Root. He was born 17 Sep 1733, Coventry, CT, and died 28 Mar 1786, Willington, CT.
She married secondly, about 1822, Thomas Sabin, son of Nehemiah and Ruth (Cooper) Sabin. He was born 10 Apr 1744, Pomfret, CT, and died in 1829. He had married firstly, Martha Haven (1739-1782), and secondly, Abigail ----- (c1744-1821).
