Miriam Adams5 Whitney (John4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of John4 and Margaret (Coffin) Whitney, was born 6 May 1757 at York, ME[1].

Marriage intentions were published, 24 Dec 1774, York, ME, for her and Thomas Talpe, both "of York".[2] She married, 19 Jan 1775, York, ME, Thomas Talpe.[3] He was born 21 Apr 1754, Isle of Shoals, NH. He was also known as Thomas Talpey.

Children of Thomas and Miriam Adams5 (Whitney) Talpe, both born York, ME:

i. John Talpe, b. 12 Aug 1775;[4] d. before Mar 1810; m. Nov 1803, York, ME, Mary Clarke.
ii. Richard Talpe, b. 7 Sep 1778.[5]
