Marriage intentions were published 27 Aug 1795, Watertown, MA, for him and Jane Polley, "both of Watertown".[1] He married, 11 Sep 1796, Watertown, MA, Jane Polley, "both of Watertown",[2] daughter of Robert and Jane (Harris) Polley. She was born in Charlestown, MA, according to her son Horace's death record, Medford, MA, according to daughter Lucy's death record, but allegedly 21 Dec 1777, Arlington, MA, and died said Aug 1839, Needham, MA. It is alleged she married secondly, 27 Mar 1838, Watertown, MA, Samuel Lovewell (1796-1851) as his fourth wife.
