Nathaniel4 Whitney (Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Nathaniel3 and Sarah (Hagar) Whitney, was born 5 or 25 Mar 1675, Watertown, MA,[1] and died 23 Sep 1730, Watertown, MA.[2]

He married, 7 Nov 1695 at Watertown, MA, Mercy Robinson "both of Watertown",[3] daughter of William and Elizabeth (Cutter) Robinson. She was born on 7 Aug or 6 Sep 1676, Cambridge, MA, and died 31 Dec 1740, Weston, MA.[4]

Nathaniel Whitney, Jr., owned the covenant 17 Jun 1711, Weston, MA.[5]

Nathaniel Whitney, Jr., was admitted to the church 20 Nov. 20, 1726.[6]

On 1 Dec 1730, Weston, MA, his inventory was taken by John Parkhurst, James Stimson, and Ebenezer Allen, all of Weston, amounting to £340-10s-0d; death date given as 23 Sep 1730. On 17 May 1731 at Weston, MA, his inventory was exhibited. On 26 Jul 1731 at Weston, MA, his administration account was exhibited by Mercy Whitney, adminstratrix of the estate of her late husband Nathaniel Whitney of Weston. On 26 Jul 1731 at Weston, MA, a list of debts was recorded.

"Nathaniel Whitney, Jun., b. Mar. 1675-6, married Mercy Robinson. They had twelve children: Nathaniel (third), Sarah, Amos, Elizabeth, Jonas, James, Israel, Susanna, Solomon, Samuel, Ebenezer, Joshua, and David.
