Otis7 Whitney (Nathan6, Jonathan5, Jonathan4, Jonathan3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Nathan6 and Olive (Whitney) Whitney, was born Conway, MA, 19 Oct 1786, and died 25 Jan 1885, Seneca Castle, NY.

He married, 1 Mar 1815, Seneca, NY, Betsey Hawley. She was born 10 Sep 1795, and died 29 Jan 1877. He was born in Conway, MA, and when six years of age moved with his parents to Seneca Castle, NY, to which place they were among the first pioneers. In 1831, with his wife, he united with he Presbyterian church, and for over fifty years was one of the elders. He was a most valued counsellor to his pastor and the session, wise, prudent and thoughtful, discreet and charitable. He resided Seneca Castle, NY.
