Uriel7 Whitney (Uriel6, Abner5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Uriel6 and Lydia (Whitmore) Whitney, was born 4 Jul 1804, North Yarmouth, ME, and died 17 Jul 1881, North Yarmouth, ME.

Marriage intentions were published 18 Dec 1826, North Yarmouth, ME, for him "Jr." and Mary Hoit.[1] He "Jr." married, 25 Jan 1827, North Yarmouth, ME, Mary Hoit.[2] She was born 22 Feb 1803, and died 31 Mar 1882.

Both are buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, North Yarmouth, ME.

He was a farmer. He resided North Yarmouth, ME.

viii. William Jordan Whitney, b. 24 Jun 1843; Co. E, 17th Maine Regt. Vol.; killed at Battle of the Wilderness, VA, 5 May 1864, aged 20 years 10 months.[10]
ix. Annie Hilton Whitney, b. 15 Dec 1845; d. 8 Feb 1889, North Yarmouth, ME. She is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, North Yarmouth, ME.
