William7 Whitney (John Coffin6, John Coffin5, John4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of John Coffin6 and Anna (Houseman) Whitney, was born 10 May 1815, PA, and died before 1860.

He married, 10 Mar 1840, Philadelphia PA, Catherine Rue. She was born about 1813, PA, and died 7 Jan 1891, Philadelphia, PA, aged 78 years, of senile debility.[1] She was buried in Lafayette Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.

Children of William7 and Catherine (Rue) Whitney:

i. Ann8 Whitney, b. ca. 1841, PA; d. after 1910, then unmarried.
ii. Cecelia Whitney, b. ca. 1843, Philadelphia, PA; d. 9 Jul 1855, Philadelphia, PA, aged 13 years, of typhoid fever.[2]
iii. William H. Whitney, b. ca. 1844, Philadelphia, PA; m. Isabella -----.
iv. Catherine Whitney, b. ca. 1847, PA; d. after 1870.
v. John C. Whitney, b. ca. 1851, PA; d. 21 Jan 1876, Philadelphia, PA, aged 25 years, of phthisis;[3] bur. LaFayette Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.

Notes

Interments in Lafayette Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA, were removed to Evergreen Memorial Park, Bensalem, PA, in 1930, which was renamed Rosedale Memorial Park in 1960.
