William Whitney, parentage unknown, born sometime before 1581[1] and died sometime after 1603.[2]

William's wife is completely unknown.

He or his son William may have been the man of that name who died of the plague and was buried 14 Sep 1603, St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.[3]

One of them may have been the William Whitney who was buried 6 Nov 1609, St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.[4]

ii. Annis Whitney, bp. 5 Oct 1603, St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.[6] She may have been the "Ann Whitney" who d. of the plague, bur. 27 Dec 1603, St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.[7]
