David J.3 Widney (Johnston2, Charles1, James), son of Johnston2 and Mary (Henderson) Widney, was born Jun 1855, PA, and died 19 May 1950, Camden, NJ, aged 94 years. He was buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, PA.[1]

He married firstly, about 1881, Susan Bitner, daughter of Samuel and Mary (-----) Bitner. She was born about 1852, Franklin Co., PA, died 1893.

He married secondly, about 1896, Emma Jane (Kieffer) Ferree, daughter of Daniel and Mary (Ferguson) Kierffer. She was born 12 Feb 1861, Shippensburg, PA, and died 11 Feb 1933, Shippensburg, PA. She was buried in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, PA.[2] She had married firstly, 8 Jan 1885, Shippensburg, PA, Daniel Keller Ferree (1861-1887).
