Jan This was Abraham-6 WHITNEY, b. 17 Apr 1785, Bolton, MA (VR), son of Elijah-5 and Sarah (STEARNS) WHITNEY. Sarah died in Bolton 3 Oct 1812. His further ancestry shows two lines of descent from John-1 and Elinor (-----) WHITNEY: Abraham-6 WHITNEY Elijah-5 WHITNEY, m. Sarah STEARNS Abraham-4 WHITNEY, m. Sarah-5 WHITNEY John-4 WHITNEY, m. Elizabeth BARNARD Isaiah-3 WHITNEY, Thomas-3 WHITNEY m. Sarah WOODWARD m. Elizabeth LAWRENCE Thomas-2 WHITNEY, m. Mary KEDALL John-1 WHITNEY, m. Elinor ----- I hope this helps.
