Had one child, W.G.WHITNEY Emily Tucker Whitney: born Sept 21, 1804 died Jan 4, 1881 Henry Whitney died March 18, 1880 Nationality: English Marcia Miranda Pettis: born June 25, 1825, Spofford, N.Y. died Feb. 22, 1906 Daughter of Israel Pettis and Anna Wheaten Pettis. Four brothers and seven sisters. Nationality: English & Scotch Then it goes on to list the 13 children of Marcia & W.G., all born in Franklin, PA. Nearly all of these Whitneys moved to Washington territory after the civil war.
