The birth date is from the tombstone, the death date not recorded in the Ashburnham VRs BECAUSE IT WAS AFTER 1850. Recall that the series of vital records books do not record any events after 1850. See, it does make sense, after all, and it is not "obviously" a death date! Furthermore this matter was discussed before, in 1997.
